When Coco was setting up her first store, she was so picky with the wallpaper style that the decorator told her to get a bucket of white paint. And that she did! The effect of white gives a vibe of openness and elegance, and showcased her stylish designs well.

Chanel was obsessed with mirrors. Her private apartments were filled with lavish gilt mirrors. She loved mirrors so much that one of her Venetian mirrors became the inspiration of the iconic Chanel No. 5 bottle.
